The 3M Automotive Acrylic Plus Attachment Tape is OEM approved for the attachment of body side moldings, fascia nerf strips, bumper trim, wheel lip and door edge moldings, claddings, and a wide variety of other trim components. It is more durable and much stronger than other foam tapes. It has a super adhesion build rate to automotive substrates and an easy liner release. It also has a more comfortable, high strength core which gives it an excellent wet out.
The 3M Automotive Acrylic Plus Attachment Tape resists stress, and gives good initial and cold temperature adhesion. It is individually packaged in a recyclable plastic container. It successfully seals, cushions, dampens vibration, resists impact, and withstands wide temperature ranges. It provides sheer strength, conformability, surface adhesion and temperature resistance.
